FROM THE PASTOR

Father Giovani

Dear parishioners, and all people of Chilliwack. Peace be with you! “I rejoiced when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD.” (Psalm 122:1) It is with great joy and gratitude that I welcome the role of pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Chilliwack. I bless the Lord for the great opportunity he has given me to be your shepherd. I humbly ask for your prayers and blessings. This is my first assignment as pastor. I will never be able to be a good shepherd without the help of all of you. Therefore, always pray for me and for any other priest who will join me in leading the flock of St. Mary’s. Looking forward to many years of faith-filled community activities and celebrations! With a heart filled with hopes and desires, I wish God’s blessings upon all of you: “May God be with you to strengthen you. May He bless you, make his face shine upon you and give you peace.

Fr. Giovanni Schiesari, Pastor
